Manuel Orbis Jr. serves as Chief of Staff to Miami-Dade County Tax Collector Dariel Fernandez, overseeing the office's daily operations, communications, and strategic initiatives. With more than 20 years of experience in county government, including three terms under the Office of the Chair of the Board of County Commissioners, Manuel brings a deep understanding of local government and a strong commitment to public service.

Throughout his career, he has led significant initiatives to improve access to county services, expand community outreach, and enhance operational efficiency. He works closely with staff across all Tax Collector divisions to promote a culture of professionalism, accountability, and service to residents.

Manuel holds both a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Florida International University, graduating with highest honors. He is fluent in English and Spanish.

A proud husband and father, Manuel is married to Miami-Dade County Commissioner Natalie Milian Orbis, and together they are raising two young children in their hometown of West Miami.
